Child Sponsorship
The importance of education cannot be overemphasized in the development and empowerment of a child. Our desire is that given the resources we should be able to support street children and children in crisis by putting them into school and meeting basic school requirements.
(1) Rehabiliate children with families, monitor progress and re-build lost self esteem through continuous counselling
(2) Integrate the children into formal schools after assessing their abilities and helping them to fit into the education system
(3) Identify, encourage and build up talents in the children.
You can be a part of this! Sponsoring a child through school is easy, safe and vital for the development of the child and the community.
The cost of sponsoring a child covers school fees, uniforms, books, pencils, and a bit of the money will sometimes go towards food support when necessary.
Much more important than these things, is that when a child has a permanent sponsor, he or she will know that someone cares and can begin to enjoy a sense of security that they have possibly never experienced before.
