The importance of education cannot be overemphasized in the development and empowerment of a child. Our desire is that given the resources we should be able to support street children and children in crisis by putting them into school and meeting basic school requirements.
We hope to integrate these children into formal schools after assessing their abilities and helping them to fit into the education system.
We try to build their self-esteem and dignity that they could have lost through counseling & involving them in church programs together with other children. The progress of the child is carefully monitored and a continuous appraisal is carried out to ensure consistency of both the child and the teaching methods.
We try to integrate street children back to their families. Also to teach both the families and the children the value of staying united as a family. Primach preaches the love of Christ, and aims to counsel hurting children. The aim is to rehabilitate the hope and self esteem they have lost.
We aim to identify, encourage and build up talents in the children. Also, to provide survival skills training especially to those children who have outgrown the age of being integrated into formal education
The cost of sponsoring a child covers school fees, uniforms, books, pencils, and a bit of the money will sometimes go towards food support where necessary.
Much more important than these things, is that when a child has a permanent sponsor, he or she will know that someone cares and can begin to enjoy a sense of security that they have possibly never experienced before.
